Diploma student final year project made during the pandemic. This short film was made with restrictions in mind when it came to then amount of locations and talents we could have due to the the rise in the Covid-19 cases after the 1st MCO. It was a group effort and an idea we all developed together. The elements that we focused on were the story, cinematography, set design and editing. The premise of the story revolves around two characters preparing for a painting competition with an underlying issue that gets in the way of their goal. The editing was the most challenging part due to technical difficulties during the shooting period. Some challenges in during editing were dealing with conti and audio. The colour grading for the film was done to enhance the set design with different scenes mixed around in order to create a different flow of the story from the original idea. The editing was the longest process and took around a month to get to the final cut.
