‘Comfort women’ were women forced into sexual slavery by the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. The book aims to educate and raise awareness about the issues these women face, as well as to give these victims who were marginalised, voiceless, and powerless, a voice. For now, it still remains an unfinished story full of unforgettable pain. Hence, it is important to educate about the risks and challenges of human exploitation especially when it is still ongoing to this day.
