Malaysian students’ interest and prociency in STEM and English was on a signicant decline. Both subjects are vital to the nation’s growth, making this decline worrisome. As part of our nation building initiative, we aimed to encourage more students to sign up for Maxis eKelas so they can enjoy quality fun learning. Ultimately giving more students the foundation to grow into future nation drivers.

Solution

Maxis eKelas presents Level Up Learning: Giving STEM and English learning a fun makeover.As a digital after-school learning platform committed to making education accessible to all, Maxis eKelas brought learning into the students’ world in a fun way through what they love: online game creation and programming platforms, an interactive competition, and social media.These experiences include:ROBLOX AND EXPERIENTIAL LEARNINGTo nurture experiential learning in STEM fields, we gave students engaging challenges such as Roblox missions and Scratch coding, along with the opportunity to construct their own ‘Smart City.’ EMBRACING ENGLISH WITHOUT FEAROur competitions centred on storytelling and public speaking provided a safe space for students to practice English without fear. Professional actors from KL Shakespeare Players conducted storytelling workshops, inspiring and training students whilst live workshops equipped them with storytelling, presentation, acting, and writing skil
