How can Grab stand out in a sea of soppy emotional ads?

Solution

While most Raya ads featured hometowns and family reunions. We told a story about an orphan with no family instead in the film ‘Suasana Hari Rabu’.

After losing her parents in a freak accident, Rabu (the protagonist) developed a strong hatred for festivities. When you don’t have a kampung to belong to, it’s only natural to hate Raya.

Will this Raya anti-hero win the hearts of Malaysians?
