Brief

How do we introduce a flavour that combines the fiery flavour of PERi-PERi with the umami flavour of local soya sauce, when South Africa and Malaysia seem so different?

Solution

We realised that the two of us, had something in common. We cooked with feeling, rather than following recipe books.

We launched a film starring the people with the most feeling - our grandmas, pattis, neneks, and popos. Who turned up the heat, and the sass, while showing us that we needed to trust our feelings to bring out the best flavour.
