In Q1 of 2021, Prudential was focused on promoting their Critical Illness solutions that offered survivors a second chance at life by providing a means to recovery. The brand wanted to continue this narrative through a Chinese New Year brand film.
We discovered that survivors of Critical Illness often get a new perspective on life, gaining clarity on what truly matters to them. Through this insight, we crafted a story of a Chinese New Year reunion-but not a traditional one with food and family. Our reunion story was a more important one; a reunion with yourself.
To strengthen the storytelling, we collaborated with Colbie, a local Chinese-language singer. A song that reflected our message was carefully developed and used as the theme music for our film.
