F&N was losing its hold on its main market _ the Malay youth. This called for something innovative, young and happening to reinforce affinity and build relevance with the Malay youth.


Today’s Malay youth are into celebrities, music, vlogging and creating their own content. We tapped into their interests by collaborating with Bunkface, a popular band among the Malays with over 1.7 million fanbase on their social media. Bunkface composed a song ‘Warnai Dunia’ in line with F&N’s brand essence. Together with Bunkface and their fans, we created a 360 Music Video. We splashed Malaysia with Warnai Dunia via mainstream media, online and on-ground. We gave away coveted merchandise from the video shoot including caps, t-shirts and paint-splashed guitars as contest prizes. The campaign generated huge buzz among the public as the song and video became viral.
