In Chinese culture, the Bai Jia Bei, which is also called a ‘blessing quilt,’ is known as a blessing towards others. Malaysian spices, which make Malaysian food unforgettable, are also considered a blessing to Malaysians. Therefore, I’ve used this blessing quilt as my inspiration for creating the packaging, a limited edition premium spice blend gift set, specially made for tourists. As for the wooden spice box, when it is filled with various spices, it forms a colourful patchwork that connects to the concept of the blessing quilt.
