Rational
To preserve the rich and colourful Peranakan heritage in Malaysia, as well as to promote it as a tourist attraction, we decided to increase public interest in its culture. Borrowing inspiration from its various elaborate design elements, we created a series of posters which talked about the many interesting facets of the unique culture including its history, society, origins, traditions, and arts. The posters also encouraged people to discover more about the Peranakans for themselves by visiting museums and attending various events around the country.
