From his beginnings in production design, Simont has always had an artistic eye. His creative flair has taken him on a journey through the industry, from a visualizer to award-winning film director. He began his career as a freelance director in 2000 and soon joined Passion Pictures Sdn. Bhd. in 2004. At Passion Pictures, he continues to direct countless TVC’s while picking up a few awards for his creative gift along the way.
Simont is a talented director capable of taking scripts to the next level, whether it's in spinning a tale of action and adventure or delivering internationally acclaimed humour. Much in demand for his filmic skill and execution, Simont enjoys embracing a diversity of scripts that allows him to showcase his ubiquitous talents as a film director. Simont has a particular knack for getting great performances from talent and consequently creates some brilliant drama and comedy films.
