JWT
Starting his career in Grey Worldwide, Jackson Mah embraced controversy, creating some of the most debated TV commercials for Malaysia car manufacturer Perodua. His contributions also helped take the agency to No. 1 in Malaysia and top 20 in Campaign Brief Asia’s rankings. In 2002, Jackson left for JWT as part of a team to spearhead its revival.
His work helped propel JWT from unranked to Top 5 in the first year, then No. 1 the year after. In 2005, his TV commercials for Channel 9 won “Best Use of Chinese Language” in Taiwan Times International Chinese Advertising Award, becoming the first and only Malaysian to win this honour to date. In past 10 years, Jackson has won over 80 creative awards.
Jackson is also the first Malaysian to judge at YoungGuns Awards in 2005 in Sydney, Australia. And for the past 3 years, he also serves as one of the judges in Kancil Awards.
