Executive Creative Director
OgilvyOne Beijing
Before taking the reins of one of Asia’s largest digital departments, Doug had been the creative lead on IBM, Lenovo, Siemens, Acura, Canon, Mercedes Benz, Google, Greenpeace, 361° and WWF.
His leadership along the way has resulted in helping Ogilvy Beijing garner a variety of recognition, including Media Magazine’s Office of the Year in ’06, China’s only Cannes Lions (Outdoor and Cyber) in ’07, the nation’s first D&AD Yellow Pencil in ’08 and China’s First Gold Echo and Asia Pacific’s Digital Media Awards’ Agency of the Year in 2010.
Prior to joining Ogilvy in late ’04, he was with San Francisco’s FCB office, with JWT in Singapore, and Dentsu in Tokyo after starting his career in Chicago at Leo Burnett.
Doug is married to a Chinese woman, who he met in Tokyo – a source of confusion among his relatives – and enjoys nothing more than having his two young bilingual sons correct his mandarin.
